Indie studio Monday Squid has announced that their debut title, Robbing Time, launches on Steam on November 13th. This co-op horror heist turns players into Robbers, setting the stage for epic escapades against their superhero counterparts. 

It’s Robbing Time 

Gather a group of up to 5 players and channel your inner villain. Robbing Time turns players into certified super villains, setting up the most devious heists known to humankind. Scheme and sneak your way into secret vaults across eight different maps, spanning city central banks, luxurious mansions, and high-tech security labs. Avoid detection by police officers and a unique cast of superheroes determined to serve justice.

Equip Villainous Gear and Upgrades

The city never sleeps, and neither does the ongoing chase between superheroes and villains. Use gadgets to your advantage, such as teleporters, trackers, and boomboxes to distract nearby guards. Stock up on batteries to recharge your equipment. As you enter a vault, tread carefully; crouch under security lasers and over trash piles to keep your footsteps light and unnoticeable. Your inventory can only carry three items, so disperse key gadgets between you and your friends. To complete a mission, each party member must collect a briefcase from the vault and avoid detection during the escape. 

Working Late, Chasing Money

Each superhero possesses their own unique superhuman abilities: Super Dog with laser-beam vision, Night Stalker with feline-like reflexes and can travel through vents, and Card Man who always has a card trick or two up his sleeve, among others. When it comes to dealing with these heroes, your environment is your greatest weapon. Evade attacks with items to bait and distract your foes, such as raw slabs of meat for Super Dog. Throughout your progression, collect scattered money lying around the map. All money successfully returned to your crib can be spent to purchase new items to equip you on your next heist, including enemy detection devices, agility-boosting energy drinks, and more.
