Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) is set to star in creature horror thriller Claire.

Cameron Crovetti (The Boy), Sarah Bolger (Mayans M.C.) and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) also star.

In the film “Ritter plays Claire, a struggling single mother battling addiction, as a malevolent creature that feeds on despair begins to terrorize her and her two sons. As her fight for sobriety deepens, the line between inner demons and real monsters, blurs, culminating in a harrowing battle for survival and redemption. “

Tracy Kleeman (Fear Filter) makes her feature directorial debut on the film.  John Carlos Higgins wrote the script.

It is executive produced by Julie Kroll, Lior Haas, Lisa Wolofsky and Edoardo Bussi of Twenty-Nine Palms Entertainment, who is overseeing global sales and will be presenting the title to distributors at the AFM. Producers are Matthew R. Cooper and Anna Dragoo of Objectively Good Media (OGM), along with Sterling Beaumon and Thomas Mahoney.
