Frank Grillo (The Purge: Anarchy, The Grey) and Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Bodies Bodies Bodies) are starring in the sci-fi survival thriller Override.
Jordan Downey (The Head Hunter, ThanksKilling) will direct from a script he co-wrote with collaborators Jackson Murray and Kevin Stewart.
The film follows a futuristic soldier (Bakalova) who is left for dead. But with the help of a synthetic angel (Grillo) — the latest in battlefield A.I. — she must fight against the clock to survive a mortal wound.
James Harris from Tea Shop Productions (Fall, 47 Meters Down) is producing alongside Michael Downey (The Big Ugly). It was financed by Christian Mercuri’s Capstone.
Capture, the sales company launched earlier this year as a joint venture between Capstone Global and Signature Entertainment, will present the film to buyers at the upcoming American Film Market.

Variety first reported on the film.
