Fathom Entertainment, Saga Arts and Warner Bros. Pictures have dropped a teaser trailer to announce the re-release o V for Vendetta.

The nationwide theatrical re-release is set for November 1 and 5, 2026, and marks the 20th anniversary of the film.

The 2006 political action thriller based on the graphic novel and produced by the Wachowskis stars Natalie Portman as Evey, a young working-class woman rescued from the secret police by a masked freedom fighter known only as V (Hugo Weaving), who is leading a plot to take down the oppressors in dramatic fashion.

Directed by James McTeigue, the film also stars Stephen Rea, John Hurt, Stephen Fry, Tim Pigott-Smith, Rupert Graves, Roger Allam, Ben Miles and Sinéad Cusack.

Producers are Joel Silver, Grant Hill and the Wachowskis from a screenplay by The Wachowskis based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore (Watchmen) and David Lloyd and published by Vertigo/DC Comics. Benjamin Waisbren is EP.
