Sam Raimi and Jordan Peele are serving as producers on Portrait of God, a feature adaptation of a viral short from filmmaker Dylan Clark.

Deadline reports that Universal has acquired the feature.

Written by Dylan Clark and Joe Russo (The Inheritance), the feature version of Portrait of God“ expands on the world of [Clark’s] viral horror short of the same name.”

In the short, “A religious girl prepares a presentation about a painting titled “Portrait of God”. What she sees challenges her beliefs.”

Jordan Peele and Win Rosenfeld will produce through Monkeypaw Productions‘ first-look deal with the studio, alongside Sam Raimi and Romel Adam through Ghost House Pictures.
