A24’s adaptation of the Holly Brickley novel Deep Cuts will star Cailee Spaeny (Civil War) and Drew Starkey (Queer). Saoirse Ronan and Austin Butler were originally set to star but had to drop due to conflicting schedules.

Sean Durkin will write and direct the feature.

Set in the 2000s, Deep Cuts is a love story about two music-obsessed twenty-somethings navigating the messy realities of ambition, belonging and adulthood over the course of an era-defining decade.
