Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World, Karate Kid: Legends) is set to direct an adaptation of Agatha Christie‘s Endless Night.
The film follows an ambitious 20-something hustler who end up entangled in a web of blame and deception after he gets romantically involved with a volatile American heiress and her assistant.
Emily Siegel penned the script, which is described as “a modern, psychological thriller that serves as a reimagining of classic novel.”
Studiocanal is behind the project, with Ron Halpern and Shana Eddy-Grouf serving as executive producers and overseeing for the studio.
Andrew Rona & Alex Heineman of Picture Company (A Complete Unknown, Gunpowder Milkshake) will produce under their overall deal with Studiocanal.
Deadline first reported on the project.
