Mitski has announced a new album, ‘Nothing’s About to Happen to Me’, with the lead single ‘Where’s My Phone’. Mitski has delivered the the follow-up to her 2023 album ‘The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We‘, by wiping her Instagram page clean, and sharing a cryptic link inviting fans to call a new phone line.

Mitski has now confirmed that her eighth studio album is on the way and set to arrive on February 27 via Dead Oceans (pre-order/pre-save here).

Alongside the album announcement and tracklist (which you can find below), Mitski has shared the lead single‘Where’s My Phone?’, as well as a psychedelic and kinetic video directed by Noel Paul.

‘Nothing’s About to Happen to Me’ sees Mitski accompanied by a live band and orchestra. According to a press release, the LP will find the singer “immersing herself in a rich narrative whose main character is a reclusive woman in an unkempt house.”

Mitski wrote all of the songs and performed all of the vocals on the record, which is produced and engineered by Patrick Hyland and mastered by Bob Weston.
