Bodhi Rae Breathnach (Hamnet) has been cast in Robert Eggers‘ (Nosferatu, The Witch) Werwulf.

She joins Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, and Ralph Ineson.

Set in 13th century England, the horror film sees a mysterious creature stalk the land as local folklore becomes a terrifying reality.

Eggers directs from a script he penned with his The Northman co-writer Sjón.

Focus is producing and financing. Eggers and Sjón produce alongside Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner for Working Title. Maiden Voyage’s Chris Columbus and Eleanor Columbus are executive producing.

In theaters December 25.
