The teaser for Disney+’s “Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord” has dropped, revealing the return of Darth Maul. A trailer is set to release tomorrow.

Sam Witwer (“The Clone Wars,” Solo: A Star Wars Story) will reprise his role as Maul.

The series sees Maul rising again to lead the underworld factions, plotting to rebuild his criminal syndicate and train a new apprentice on a planet untouched by the Galactic Empire.

Lucasfilm President Dave Filoni (“Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” “The Mandalorian”) created “Maul – Shadow Lord.”

Matt Michnovetz (“Star Wars: The Cone Wars,” “24”) serves as head writer with Brad Rau(“Star Wars: The Bad Batch”) as supervising director.
