The first look at Yoshi in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has debuted.

The voice actors for the sequel include: Mario (Chris Pratt), Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Luigi (Charlie Day), Bowser (Jack Black), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), and Kamek (Kevin Michael Richardson). 

Voice cast additions revealed this morning include Brie Larson, who will voice Princess Rosalina, and Benny Safdie is Bowser Jr.

Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic are directing from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel. The movie is being co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and distributed theatrically worldwide by Universal.

Melendandri and Shigeru Miyamoto, Representative Director, Fellow of Nintendo, are producing.

Universal will release the film in theaters April 3, 2026.
