The queer supernatural horror film Leviticus has been acquired by Neon in a seven-figure deal.

Writer-director Adrian Chiarella makes his feature debut on the Australian production, which had a buzzy premiere at Sundance on Friday.

Joe Bird (Talk to Me) and Stacy Clausen play star-crossed teenage boys who must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most — each other.

Mia Wasikowska (Crimson Peak) co-stars, marking her return to the screen after a three-year break, alongside Jeremy BlewittEwen Leslie (The Nightingale), and Davida McKenzie (Silent Night).

Talk to Me and Bring Her Back producers Samanta Jennings and Kristina Ceyton of Causeway Films produce alongside Hannah Ngo. Causeway also bankrolled the picture with Salmira Productions.

Deadline first reported on the acquisition.
