With no power comes no responsibility in the new teaser for Spider-Noir.
Nicolas Cage will be reprising his role from the animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Cage stars Ben Reilly, a seasoned, down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero.
Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li , Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and Brendan Gleeson also star.
Guest stars include Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster.
Co-showrunners Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (“The Punisher”) developed Spider-Noir with the Academy Award-winning team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal.
Emmy winner Harry Bradbeer (“Fleabag,” Enola Holmes) directed the first two episodes. Sony Pictures Television produces.
Executive producers include Lord, Miller, Aditya Sood & Dan Shear for Lord Miller, Pascal for Pascal Pictures, Cage, Uziel, Lightfoot, Bradbeer, and Pavlina Hatoupis (“The Alienist”).
The series will debut domestically on MGM+’s linear channel on May 25 before all eight episodes stream globally on Prime Video on May 27.
