Katee Sackhoff offered an update on Mike Flanagan‘s upcoming Carrie series.
“October of 2026, Carrie comes out on Amazon. You guys are in for a treat. It’s very good,” Sackhoff told Fan Expo Vancouver, via The Direct.
“You guys are gonna love it. Mike Flanagan is, so good at what he does: smart, psychological horror,” Sackhoff added. “And he’s very, very good at adapting Stephen King, and Stephen trusts him.”
In Carrie, misfit high-schooler Carrie White has spent her life in seclusion with her domineering mother. After her father’s sudden and untimely death, Carrie finds herself contending with the alien landscape of public high school, a bullying scandal that shatters her community, and the emergence of mysterious telekinetic powers.
