Kristen Bell is set to join the cast of Paramount pic Sonic the Hedgehog 4 voicing the character of Amy Rose. Ben Schwartz, who voices Sonic, made the announcement on social media.

Jeff Fowler returns to direct the film which releases March 19, 2027.

Producers are Neal H. Moritz and Toby Ascher, and Toru Nakahara.

Bell was most recently seen reprising her role in the second season of the Emmy nominated hit Netflix series’s, Nobody Wants This. Recent acting credits include leading roles in the Amazon Prime comedy film The People We Hate at the Wedding, alongside Allison Janney and Ben Platt and Netflix’s parody comedy The Woman in the House.
