David Oyelowo (Selma, The Cloverfield Paradox) stars in the trailer for Newborn, which you can check out below.

It follows Chris Newborn (Oyelowo), who after serving seven years in solitary confinement seeks to rebuild his life and reconnect with his family only to find that freedom has become a terrifying psychological battleground.

Nate Parker (The Birth of a Nation) writes and directs in addition to producing alongside Oyelowo, Aaron L. Gilbert (Joker, Ghostbusters: Afterlife), and Christina Lee Storm.

Olivia Washington (The Little Things), Barry Pepper (Saving Private Ryan), Jimmie Fails(Borderline), and Aiden Stoxx (“Yellowjackets”) round out the cast.

Mansa will release the psychological thriller in AMC theaters on April 10.
