The trailer for Swedish series, “Summer of 1985” is out now.

Based on the latest novel by Let the Right One In author John Ajvide Lindqvist, the series centers on a group of friends preparing for an epic summer together in the Stockholm archipelago. The calm shatters when a local boy is found drowned near the mythical island of Svärtan. What seems like an accident becomes a murder investigation, exposing fractures within the tight-knit community.

Linus Rogsgård, Ture Nerman, Nelly Anderbro, Stina Kristiansen, Josefin Neldén, Sanna Sundqvist, and Rolf Lassgård star.

From Underworld: Awakening director and “The Bridge” co-creator Björn Stein, the six-episode show is slated to premiere on Sweden’s SVT later this year.
