Sasha Calle (The Flash) is the latest to join Mike Flanagan’s The Exorcist.

Deadline reports, “Sasha Calle’s role in The Exorcist is being kept under wraps, as is the plot of the film, written and directed by Mike Flanagan, which is shooting in New York City.”

Calle joins Scarlett Johansson, Laurence Fishburne, Jacobi Jupe, Diane Lane and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

The film will tell an all-new story set in The Exorcist universe.

Flanagan is producing via his Red Room Pictures banner alongside Jason Blum for Blumhouse-Atomic Monster and David Robinson for Morgan Creek Entertainment. Executive producers include Red Room’s Alexandra Magistro and Blumhouse’s Ryan Turek.

Universal will release Flanagan’s The Exorcist in theaters March 12, 2027.
