Today, PIAS has announced that they will be returning with their own showcase (in partnership with the British Music Embassy) at Palm Door on Sixth on Thursday, March 12 featuring Sassy 009, Gwenno, The Haunted Youth and Saint Agnes.

Dreamer+ – the debut album from Norwegian artist, Sassy 009  is a concept-driven record following a grim fairytale in which dreams and emotions are processed through a landscape of shapeshifting characters. Drawing on shoegaze, 90s beatronica and gauzy hyper-pop, with hydraulic bass throughout, the album found critical acclaim from The FADER, Pitchfork, Dazed, Stereogum (Album of the Week, KEXP, NPR and more. The guests littered throughout the record include Blood Orange, yunè pinku and BEA1991.

The Haunted Youth (Play It Again Sam)

Following the release of their debut, Belgian band The Haunted Youth will return with sophomore studio album Boys Cry Too on May 8, 2026. Progressing beyond the fragile, bedroom-pop innocence of their first record, Boys Cry Too favors a sound far more confrontational and emotionally charged. Finding support over the years from the likes of KEXPConsequenceThe Line of Best FitPopMatters and more, The Haunted Youth craft a sound that is both fiery and red-blooded.

Gwenno (Heavenly)

43 years into her life, Gwenno Saunders has been many people. The disaffected Cardiff schoolgirl; the teenage Las Vegas dancer; the singer in indie pop group The Pipettes. Utopia, her fourth solo album, is an extraordinary exploration of all of these selves.  There is a sense of revelation to Utopia, which picked up support from Brooklyn VeganThe Needle DropUnder The RadarNorthern Transmissions & more. Having released three albums in Welsh and Cornish, Utopia is Gwenno’s first album recorded predominantly in English, and presents a very different side to her life and songwriting.

Saint Agnes (Spinefarm)

Hailing from Southampton, UK, this ferocious four-piece are all about honest lyrics, intense vocal performances (from Kitty A. Austen), plus music intended to give a voice to those closer to the fringe than the centre.  As much gang as band, Saint Agnes have embarked on headline tours in both the UK and Europe, and appeared at festivals including Download, 2000 Trees, Isle of Wight and Kendal Calling.

Joyeria (Speedy Wundeground)

Drawing on experiences from Poland, Canada and now London, UK-based artist Joyeria‘s latest EP Graceful Degradation remains consistent with his signature existential indie-rock sound, laced with satirical humor and an experimental edge.
