Kirsten Dunst (Roofman) has joined the cast of the untitled Minecraft Movie sequel. Character details are under wraps.

The sequel from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary sees the return of Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry, and Jennifer Coolidge.

Jared Hess is returns to direct A Minecraft Movie 2.

The screenplay by Jared Hess & Chris Galletta is under wraps.

It is produced by Legendary’s Mary Parent and Cale Boyter as well as Roy Lee, Eric McLeod, Kayleen Walters, Torfi Frans Ólafsson and Jason Momoa who starred in the original pic.

The first film is from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures.

It is set to release July 23, 2027.
