Weapons prequel, Gladys, is taking shape. Weapons director Zach Cregger will write the screenplay for the Weapons prequel alongside Zach Shields (Krampus, Godzilla: King of the Monsters). Zach Cregger will also produce the upcoming prequel for Warner Bros. and New Line. The prequel does not yet have a director attached to the film. Deadline first reported on the development.
