Comicbook has reported that Jason Blum, founder of Blumhouse Productions, provided a Q&A session on Twitter. During this session, questions were brought up about the rumored Five Nights at Freddy’s film. Blum replied by stating, “it really is still coming. I promise guys.” Blumhouse confirmed its plans to create a Five Nights at Freddy’s film back in 2017.

Given how long it has been since film plans have been announced, it is no surprise that fans have shown skepticism and doubt. The creator of Five Night’s at Freddy’s has been trying to get an adaption of Five Night’s at Freddy’s made since 2015. It’s also something fans of the franchise have been wanting for some time now. There definitely is a lot of parts moving however from the sound of Jason Blum’s tweet.

Although it is taking a while to see any progress in the Five Night’s at Freddy’s film, it is not the first time we have seen this occur with other video game film adaptions. However, we will soon be seeing a trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s according to Blum’s tweet.
