Amazon Studios’ The Boys has been renewed for a fourth season, and in addition to this, we will be receiving a spinoff that has been officially titled, Gen V.
The live-action spinoff will be set at America’s only college for young-adult superheroes. Gen V is set to be “an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.” (Source: BloodyDisgusting)
Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters are showrunners for the new spinoff. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogan, and Evan Goldberg will be producing. The cast of Gen V include Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (Bones), Shelley Conn (Bridgerton), Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters), London Thor (Shameless), Derek Luh (Shining Vale), Asa Germann (Caviar), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), Sean Patrick Thomas (Barbershop), and Marco Pigossi (Invisible City) star.
A premiere date can be expected soon.
