The Hellraiser franchise is being revived on Hulu, and its new teaser has revealed the film will release October 7.

Directed by David Bruckner, with Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski writing. It stars Jamie Clayton as Pinhead and Odessa A’zion as Riley. Other cast members include Adam Faison, Drew Starkey, Brandon Flynn. Additional cast include Aoife Hinds, Jason Liles, Yinka Olorunnife, Selina Lo, Zachary Hing, Kit Clark, Goran Visnjic and Hiam Abbass.

In Hellraiser,” a young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.”

In addition, a Hellraiser series is in the works at HBO. David Gordon Green is directing the pilot and “several more initial episodes” of the HBO series, and Michael Dougherty is writing alongside Mark Verheiden.
