An Indiana Jones series for Disney+ is in talks.

The Mousehouse and Lucasfilm have been bringing up the possibility of the show. The series is still early on in the process, with no writer attached yet. Therefore, there are no plot details available yet. It is unknown if it will be a prequel, spinoff, or if it will tie into the upcoming fifth film.

It is not the first time there has been a series about Indiana Jones. Between 1992-1993, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles aired for two seasons on ABC, with four made-for-TV specials airing on The Family Channel. The show focused primarily on the early years of the character.

Disney has been focused on making a lot of content for its streaming platform, so it comes as no surprise that the possibility of an Indiana Jones series is in the works.
