Patrick Dempsey most notably known for Grey’s Anatomy is in talks to join Eli Roth’s horror movie Thanksgiving. The film which is based on the faux trailer Roth conjured up for the double feature movie grindhouse is finally getting made. Thanksgiving will be made under Spyglass and begins shooting in March.

It’s going to be interesting to finally have Thanksgiving be the spotlight in horror as Christmas horror movies are everywhere. There is no plot details as of yet but based on what we’ve seen a slasher comes into a small town in Massachusetts and wrecks havoc. Dempsey is in talks to play the towns sheriff per sources. Roth will be directing the film and Spyglass will be producing.
