Addison Rae Lands Lead Role In Eli Roth’s ‘Thanksgiving’

Tik Tok star Addison Rae will be making her splash to the big screen in the upcoming Eli Roth horror film ‘Thanksgiving’. Deadline sources have reported that Eli Roth’s upcoming horror film “Thanksgiving” is expanding its cast with big names. Patrick Dempsey was recently announced and now Addison Rae. The movie is based on a fake trailer from the Grindhouse double feature and is produced by Spyglass Media, with Roth directing. Jeff Rendel wrote the script, and filming is set to start in March.

The “Thanksgiving” trailer offered a gruesome sneak peek at a fictitious film where a serial killer butchers the inhabitants of a Massachusetts town that celebrates Thanksgiving annually. A memorable scene showed Eli Roth losing his head during a passionate moment in a convertible. It took 15 years for the film to materialize, with Roth directing. Now, it’s finally becoming a reality.

Addison Rae’s multi-million dollar deal with Netflix has made her a significant influencer with over 80 million TikTok followers. It looks like the studios want to capitalize on her following and presence she has. “He’s All That,” was Rae’s big breakout role that probably got more eyes on her. “Thanksgiving” is a promising opportunity for her and will probably lead to seeing her in more projects.
