Seth Rogen, who voices mutant warthog Bebop, made the announcement at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday night in an appearance alongside lead cast members .Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, produced by Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, and Point Grey Productions, will feature an all-star voice cast. The lead cast members, Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon, will voice the Ninja Turtles: Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael, respectively.

Others lending their voices to the film heading to theaters on August 4 include Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog; Rose Byrne as Leatherhead; John Cena as Rocksteady; Jackie Chan as Splinter; Ice Cube as Superfly; Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut; Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil; Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman; Post Malone as Ray Fillet; Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko; and Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom.

The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film is an original story that follows the four crime-fighting turtles as they protect the streets and sewers of New York City. After years of being isolated from the human world, they venture out to gain acceptance as normal teenagers through heroic deeds, with the help of their new friend April O’Neil (Edibiri). However, their efforts lead them to confront a mysterious crime syndicate and an army of mutants that threaten their city.

Directed by Jeff Rowe, the film is Nickelodeon’s first-ever CG-animated theatrical production, produced by Point Grey Productions’ Rogen, Goldberg, and Weaver, with Williams as co-producer and Fagen overseeing the project. Naito expressed excitement over the star-studded cast assembled for the film, which includes a mix of new and iconic characters from the TMNT franchise. The first teaser for Mutant Mayhem will be released on Monday.
