‘Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse’ Trailer ‘No Way Home’ Reference

Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse has some big shoes to fill after the near perfect Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse. The animated film, which in our opinion, is one of the best superhero films, is finally getting a sequel. Across The Spider-Verse looks to continue the distinct animation that made the first that special. We finally got a new trailer for the film which releases later this year and its just as hype.

One of the interesting aspects of the trailer is the showcase of some of the Spider people we will be seeing throughout. There has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not we see the live action Spider-Man. It seems that we just might actually see them. Well, we at least get them acknowledged in this latest trailer so that’s a start. In the trailer we have Miguel who is Spider-Man 2099 voiced by Oscar Isaac refer to the events of No Way Home. Check it out below:

Yes, indeed No Way Home is acknowledged in the movie but we still aren’t completely sure if Tom, Tobey, or Andrew will appear in the movie. I would love to see the live action Spider-Man at some point in this movie and would bet its not going to be until the part 2. Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse is being split into two parts with the next one releasing 2024. If we do see any of the live action Spider-Man it might be until then. The trailer also gives us a better look at the main villain as well The Spot.

Overall, we enjoyed the trailer for Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse and can’t wait to see the finished movie on June 2, 2023. Who are you most excited to see in the movie and do you think we will see any of the live action Spider-Man?
