Pennywise will continue to terrorize us into 2024 with new show Welcome To Derry. The announcement for the show came a while ago but today things were set in motion. The show will be set during the 1960’s just right before the events of IT Chapter One. We already have a cast announced that includes Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, James Remar, and Chris Chalk.

The series will be coming to us in 2024 and has Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs on board the Pennywise prequel project from Warner Bros. Television, with Muschietti set to direct several episodes. This is exciting news to everyone who was waiting for more lore. Pennywise was set to return in a prequel movie that was rumored around the time of Chapter One. We never got the prequel that would have focused apparently on an 1800’s Pennywise.

Although we never got the prequel we are excited for the show. There is no word yet if Bill Skarsgard will return to play the evil clown. We hope to get more updates on the show and how Pennywise the clown will be incorporated. Welcome To Derry will release sometime in 2024 on MAX.
