We have a Thanksgiving slasher already on the way and the latest new slasher comes in the form of another holiday classic. It’s A Wonderful Knife takes the classic film and flips it upside down into a slasher. The new film coming to us from RLJE Films and Shudder later this year is sure to crank the thrills up.

The Holiday slasher It’s a Wonderful Knife comes from writer Michael Kennedy and director Tyler MacIntyre. Check out the latest trailer that is being described as Scream meets It’s a Wonderful Life.

It’s a Wonderful Knife stars Jane Widdop in the lead role of ‘Winnie Carruthers’, with Joel McHale (“Community”) set to play Winnie’s father ‘David’ and Justin Long (Barbarian) playing the town’s patron ‘Mr Waters’. Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps), Jess McLeod (One of Us Is Lying) and Cassandra Naud also star.
