An official trailer for Brandon Salisbury’s documentary, George A. Romero’s Resident Evil was recently released. The film will explore what led to Romero’s Resident Evil script being dropped.

Produced by Key 13 Films in association with Point Five Films and written by Salisbury and Robbie McGregor, the documentary will combine archival footage, documents, and interviews. It will also combine elements from the iconic videogames with Romero’s films.

As the father of the zombie film, Romero seemed to be the perfect fit for a Resident Evil film. It’ll be interesting to delve deeper into the topic, and to see what led to the dropped script.
