Alien will most likely be taking over the pop culture talk with Noah Hawley’s show as well as Fede Alvarez movie. The movie from Alvarez is slated for release on August 16, 2024.

According to Cailee Spaeny the film takes place in between Alien and Aliens. In a sit down with Variety Spaeny revealed the timeline of the film.

“It’s supposed to slot in between the first movie and the second movie, They brought the same team from Aliens, the James Cameron film. The same people who built those xenomorphs actually came on and built ours. “So getting to see the original design with the original people who have been working on these films for 45-plus years and has been so much of their life has been really incredible.”

The project “will focus on a group of young people on a distant world.” Spaeny leads the cast alongside Isabela Merced, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu.

Fede Alvarez co-wrote the script with Rodo Sayagues (Evil Dead). Ridley Scott is on board as producer for the film.
