Mad Max Fury Road dominated the box office and the award season 8 years ago and now it’s coming back with a prequel. The prequel which will center around Charlize Theron’s character Furiosa but this time played by Anya Taylor-Joy. ‘Furiosa’ is slated to come out May 2024 and will have Miller directing and writing the film for Warner Bros. We just had our first look of Anya as Furiosa at CCXP in Brazil via Collider

The event is also slated to have the first official teaser for the film and we already have a synopsis for it. Check it out below

“As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by the Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”

Chris Hemsworth will also star in the upcoming prequel movie. George Miller has also given us a timeline for the film below

“Whereas Fury Road essentially happened over three days and two nights, this happens over many years,”
