Grand Theft Auto 6 has been one of the most highly anticipated games for years, and the trailer for the upcoming game was set for today. However, after a leak last night, Rockstar Games went ahead and released the first official trailer.

Finally, the trailer introduces us to a female lead, Lucia who appears to be on parole. We then are shown a montage of scenes of Miami, along with social media-like posts, with Tom Petty’s “Love Is A Long Road” playing in the background. The trailer looks absolutely stunning and wild all at once, and we’re so excited to play it once it’s out. However, we still have some time to wait as the release date isn’t until sometime in 2025.

GTA 6 is due to be the eighth main Grand Theft Auto game, following Grand Theft Auto V, and the sixteenth entry overall. It has been over ten years in the making, so the anticipation for this next addition to the franchise has been overwhelming. One thing to note, is that this is trailer one as noted in the title of the video, so Rockstar is bound to reveal more through future trailers!
