Handling the Undead, which will be a part of the World Dramatic Competition at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival has released a trailer.

It is directed by Thea Hvistendahl, who wrote the screenplay along with John Ajvide Lindqvist. The film stars Renate Reinsve and Anders Danielsen Lie. It’s based on the book of the same name by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

Here’s a brief synopsis: “On a hot summer day in Oslo, the newly dead awaken. Three families faced with loss try to figure out what this resurrection means and if their loved ones really are back.”
