Following its world premiere at Fantastic Fest, in competition play at Sitges, and theatrical release earlier this month, sci-fi drama Tropic will be available for video on demand and DVD next week. 

Here’s the synopsis: “Lázaro and Tristán (19), twin brothers and best friends, are training together for the Astronaut Academy entrance tests. One day, Tristán is contaminated with some mysterious residue which makes him monstrous physically and weakened mentally. This disaster forces Lázaro to let go of how he remembers his brother and learn to love him as he is now, in a world where there is no room for monsters.”

Tropic is directed by Edouard Salier, with screenplay by Edouard Salier and Mauricio Carrasco. It stars Pablo Cobo, Louis Peres, and Marta Nieto.

Tropic will release for VOD and DVD on December 19.
