Serial Killer Horror ‘THE MUMMY MURDERS’ Releases January

THE MUMMY MURDERS is set to release in January.

The film was directed by Colin Bressler, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Will Donahue. The film was produced by Bressler under his Bressler Productions banner and producer Marla Makley. Other talent includes composer James Tearne and editor Chris Bakir.

The film stars Leila Annastasia Scott (Dr. Virginia’s Island Paradise) and Jason Scarbrough (Last Radio Call). The film also features an ensemble cast made up of Jeff Caperton (Ambush), Will Donahue (Bite Nite), Aimee Michelle (Dead Live Stream), Destiny Soria (Christmas Slasher), Cole Springer (The Leftovers)and Isak Tufic (Neon Days).

Here’s the synopsis: “A lot of people have been going missing in Alexis’ hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Alexis is a top reporter for the local news station, and there have been rumors that a serial killer dubbed “The Mummy Murderer” is responsible. She begins digging into the story and finds that the killer has a uniquely hideous mode of murder… embalming his victims alive. Frustrated that another man has been charged by the police, thus given “credit” for his murders, he comes out of hiding to present his story to Alexis. She is horrified and intrigued as he walks her through his life and reveals what inspired him to be a killer, but when she finds that she plays a role in his current crime, she is forced to choose between her own wishes, possibly her own life, and the life of another.”

The Mummy Murders will be released January 2, 2024 by Gravitas Ventures.
