Christopher Abbott Starring in ‘Wolf Man’ Replacing Ryan Gosling for Blumhouse, Universal

Christopher Abbott will star in Blumhouse and Universal Pictures’ werewolf thriller that is being directed by Invisible Man filmmaker Leigh Whannell. The film will be coming to theaters October 25, 2024.

The plot details are being kept under wraps but the story is focused on a man whose family is being terrorized by a lethal predator. The script was written by Whannell and Corbett Tuck as well as Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo.

Jason Blum is producing the film. Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner and Whannell are executive producers. Wolf Man is a Blumhouse and Motel Movies production.

Abbott is represented by William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, Entertainment 360, and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern. Whannell is represented by CAA and Myman Greenspan Fox Rosenberg Mobasser Younger & Light. Schuker Blum & Angelo are represented by CAA and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
