Ava DuVernay’s ‘ORIGIN’ In Theaters January

NEON debuts new trailer for Academy Award-Nominated filmmaker Ava DuVernay’s Origin.

The film is inspired by the New York Times best-seller “Caste”. Here’s a brief synopsis: “While investigating the global phenomenon of caste and its dark influence on society, a journalist faces unfathomable loss and uncovers the beauty of love and human resilience.

The film stars Academy Award nominee Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor (King Richard), Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead), Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring), Audra McDonald (The Gilded Age), Niecy Nash-Betts (Selma), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), and Blair Underwood (Self Made).

Origin will release in theaters January 19, 2024.
