The latest teaser for Sonic 3 sets up Shadow and the return of Robotnik which is played by Jim Carrey. In the last film we saw Robotnik fall from a giant robot but by the time the credits rolled we learned that his body was never found. Of course, this sets up the return of Robotnik as well as the introduction to another one of Sonic’s foes and that’s Shadow the Hedgehog.

The Sonic movies have gone on to make over 800 million dollars at the box office and Paramount isn’t stopping anytime soon. They also have a Knuckles spin-off show coming out later. The third film is slated to release on December 20th, 2024, and the hype has started. Of course, the rumors are already circulating of who could be voicing Shadow the Hedgehog.
