Movies Coming Out March 2024

March is packed with film releases, ranging from horror films such as Imaginary and Immaculate, to the highly anticipated sequel to Dune.

Dune: Part Two Release Date: March 1

Dune: Part Two is directed by Denis Villeneuve, with screenplay by Villeneuve Jon Spaihts, and Frank Herbert. “Paul Atreides unites with Chani and the Fremen while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he must prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”

Imaginary Release Date: March 8

Imaginary is directed by Jeff Wadlow, and is written by Wadlow, Greg Erb and Jason Oremland. “When Jessica returns to her childhood home with her family, she finds her old stuffed bear, Chauncey, and sees that her youngest stepdaughter Alice has grown attached to it. After Alice’s behaviour becomes concerning, and the games that she and Chauncey play turn increasingly sinister, Jessica starts realising that Chauncey is much more than the stuffed bear she believed him to be for all those years.”

Kung Fu Panda 4 Release Date: March 8

Kung Fu Panda 4 is directed by Mike Mitchell and is written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger. “Po must train a new warrior when he’s chosen to become the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. However, when a powerful shape-shifting sorceress sets her eyes on his Staff of Wisdom, he suddenly realizes he’s going to need some help. Teaming up with a quick-witted corsac fox, Po soon discovers that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.”

Love Lies Bleeding Release Date: March 8

Love Lies Bleeding is directed by Rose Glass from a screenplay Glass co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska. “Lou is a reclusive gym manager who falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder who’s heading to Las Vegas to pursue her dream. Their love soon leads to violence as they get pulled deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.”

Arthur the King Release Date: March 15

Arthur the King is directed by Simon Cellan Jones and is written by Michael Brandt and Mikael Lindnord. “An adventure racer adopts a stray dog named Arthur to join him in an epic endurance race.”

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Release Date: March 22

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is directed by Gil Kenan and is written by Kenan, Jason Reitman and Ivan Reitman. “The Spengler family returns to the iconic New York City firehouse where the original Ghostbusters have taken ghost-busting to the next level. When the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must unite to protect their home and save the world from a second ice age.”

Immaculate Release Date: March 22

Immaculate is directed by Michael Mohan and is written by Andrew Lobel. “Cecilia, a woman of devout faith, is warmly welcomed to the picture-perfect Italian countryside where she is offered a new role at an illustrious convent. But it becomes clear to Cecilia that her new home harbors dark and horrifying secrets.”

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire Release Date: March 29

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is directed by Adam Wingard and is written by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater. “Godzilla and the almighty Kong face a colossal threat hidden deep within the planet, challenging their very existence and the survival of the human race.”
