Jurassic World is headed back to the big screen in 2025 with a new untitled movie, and THR reports that Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) is in talks to star. Gareth Edwards (2014’s GodzillaThe Creator) will be directing the new installment, with original Jurassic Park writer David Koepp returning to write the screenplay.

The next Jurassic World film will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg through Amblin Entertainment. The new movie is expected to bring a brand new Jurassic Era with Jurassic World cast members Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard not expected to return. The new Jurassic World still has the plot details under wraps.

This news comes in the wake of Jurassic WorldJurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World: Dominion, a trilogy of sequels to the original classic that concluded in 2022. The last entry brought in a billion dollars at the global box-office which of course meant a new film was a no brainer for Universal.
