Netflix today shared the trailer for Uglies, a new film based on the 2005 best-selling novel of the same name by Scott Westerfeld. The film is directed by McG and written by Jacob Forman, Vanessa Taylor, and Whit Anderson.

In a futuristic dystopia with enforced beauty standards, a teen awaiting mandatory cosmetic surgery embarks on a journey to find her missing friend.

The cast of Uglies includes:
