Comicpalooza has added more guests for the 2025 year, including Patton Oswalt and Andrea Stewart. Oswalt will be at Comicpalooza Saturday, June 21, and Stewart will be in attendance the full Comicpalooza weekend.
Oswalt is a stand-up comedian, writer, and award-winning actor and voice actor best known for such roles as ‘Remy’ in the Pixar animated film Ratatouille, ‘Matt Freehauf’ in Young Adult, ‘Roache’ in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, ‘Todd Maher’ in The Secret Life of Walker Mitty and as ‘Spencer Olchin’ in the sitcom The King of Queens. Most recently, he can be seen in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Manhunt and can be heard in Adventures in Wonder Park.
Oswalt’s TV credits include A.P. Bio, Veep, Justified, Axe Cop, The Goldbergs, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Bojack Horseman, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Parks and Recreation, Community, The United States of Tara and many more. Some of his film credits include such films as Observe and Report, Big Fan, Odd Thomas, Nature Calls, The Secret Life of Pets 2, Keeping up with the Joneses, The Circle. Additionally, Patton’s writing resume includes a number of films as well as the MTV series, Human Giant and comic book series, Minor Threats.
Stewart is the Sunday Times bestselling author of The Drowning Empire trilogy and The Gods Below, and a writing coach at The Novelry. Her work has been a finalist for the Locus Award for Best First Novel, the British Fantasy Award for Best Novel, the Goodreads Choice Award for Fantasy and Debut Novel, and the BookNest Award for Best Traditionally Published Novel. When her (admittedly ambitious) dreams of becoming a dragon slayer didn’t pan out, she instead turned to writing books. She now lives in sunny California, and in addition to writing, can be found herding cats, looking at birds, and falling down research rabbit holes.
