Anna Sawai (Shōgun) and Hidetoshi Nishijima (Drive My Car) are set to join the cast of the A24 crime saga Enemies.

They join Austin Butler and Jeremy Allen White.

In Enemies, a relentless detective and an infamous contract killer collide in a deadly game of cat and mouse. 

Henry Dunham (The Standoff at Sparrow Creek) is writing and directing.

Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen of Square Peg are producing alongside A24. Alejandro De Leon will also produce. Josh Bachove will executive produce. 

Deadline first reported on Sawai and Nishijima joining the cast of Enemies.
