Aaron Moten (Fallout) and Clancy Brown (Promising Young Woman) have joined Mila Kunis and Corey Hawkins in the thriller based on Tracy Sierra’s debut novel, Nightwatching.
Rounding out the cast are Pat Healy (Killers of the Flower Moon), Mark Webber (Trigger Warning), Grace Kelly Quigley (Physical), and Duke McCloud (All Her Fault).
Nightwatching follows Lee, a mother who, during a relentless winter storm, wakes to an intruder in her home. In a single instant, what should have been an ordinary night unravels into a fight for survival. As she struggles to protect her children, she’s drawn into a harrowing game of doubt and danger, one that leaves her questioning not only who has entered her home, but what they truly want
Adam Schindler and Brian Netto (Don’t Move) direct from a screenplay by Laura Moss and Brendan J. O’Brien (Birth/Rebirth) with revisions by TJ Cimfel and David White (Don’t Move).
Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, and Sam Roston are producing for Scott Free Productions, alongside Erik Feig, Jessica Switch and Emily Wissink for Picturestart, and Kunis and Lisa Sterbakov for Kunis’ Brick for Sheep. Roston and Avital Siegel are overseeing production for Scott Free. Executive producers include Graham Taylor and Christopher Slager for Fifth Season, which is financing the film, as well as Justin Alvarado Brown for Scott Free, and Franny Baldwin.
CAA Media Finance and WME Independent are repping domestic rights to the film, which will be released internationally by Amazon MGM Studios.
