Well Go USA Entertainment has acquired U.S. rights to Yeon Sang-ho’s (Train to Busan) new horror movie Colony.

Following its premiere at Cannes, the film will release in the States August 28, 2026.

In Colony, “A biotech conference descends into chaos when a rapidly mutating virus transforms the infected, forcing authorities to seal off the facility with survivors trapped inside.”

Gianna Jun (Blood: The Last Vampire), Koo Kyo-hwan (Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula), Ji Chang-wook (“Healer”), and Shin Hyun-been (“Hospital Playlist”) star.

Wowpoint and Smilegate produce in association with Midnight Studio. Korea’s Showbox is handling international distribution.
