Adria Arjona has landed the role of Maxima in the upcoming Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow from DC Studios.

James Gunn is directing, producing and penned the script.

Arjona joins David Corenswet (Superman), Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor), Lars Eidinger (Brainiac), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Nathon Fillion (Guy Gardner), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific) and Aaron Pierre.

Maxima is the warrior queen from the planet Almerac. Introduced in Action Comics #645 in 1990, she arrives on Earth in search of a suitable mate and quickly sets her sights on Superman.
