The trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was shown at CinemaCon.

Here’s a description courtesy of Deadline:

“Something’s coming, something we may not be able to deter,” said Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier. “Before this day is done, we will be faced with an unthinkable decision.”

Thor said “we’re going to need a miracle” to bring Doom down — but thankfully, it seems he has one in Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).

Other Marvel characters we saw coming together in the trailer to combat Doom included Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and the Thunderbolts, Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and the Black Panthers, Gambit (Channing Tatum), the Fantastic Four, and Magneto (Ian McKellen), to name just a few.

The film, which is directed by the Russo brothers, hits theaters December 18.
